Bakery Operative - High Care Department
Monday - Sunday 5 days out of 7
7:00am - 3:18pm, 39 Hours
£10.60 per hour plus excellent benefits (see below).

Please note: In this role, you will be required to stand for long periods, carryout frequent lifting / manual handling (up to 16 kilos), bending, stretching, moving in a very busy environment at a fast pace whilst working to tight deadlines under pressure. You may be exposed to extremes of temperature i.e. hot & cold & flour dust.

Why this role matters
This is an opportunity to support a fast-paced meat production operation, where you will be hands on helping to produce pies and savoury products.
The 3 keys to success in this role are;
1. Ability to make consistently excellent savoury and pie products, correctly, with minimum wastage.
2. Ability to make quality-based decisions on the production of pies and savories.
3. Ensuring we follow all procedures and processes to keep our customers and colleagues safe.

What your key responsibilities are
· Working as a production operative producing pies and savories'.
· Cleaning and resolving minor machine faults as they occur.
· Stacking trays and baskets, and moving racks in and out of freezer and chiller storage areas.
What your key skills and experiences are:
· Previous experience of production line work
· Previous meat processing experience
