Job Description

Reporting to the Rents Finance Manager, the Rent Officer will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining an accuracy of the transaction data within the Housing Management system, through the processing of payments and adjustments
  • Weekly reconciliation of the suspense account, keeping breakdowns of the transactions
  • Responding promptly to escalated queries from internal and external parties.
  • Reconciling the Sponsors Accounts

The Successful Applicant

The successful Rent Officer will ideally have previous exposure in a similar role with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.

A good level of analysis and interpretation of financial and statistical information is required, so a track record of doing this would be preferred.

A confident user of Excel is essential along with excellent communication skills.

What's on Offer

A salary up to £28,000 depending on previous exposure, plus an excellent benefits package including study support.
