WHAT WE NEED IN A NUTSHELL

We're looking for part time Packing Assistants to join our team over the festive period.

You will be passionate and hard-working, with a meticulous eye for detail. You must be able to work quickly to tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You may have worked in a similar role before or perhaps you have no experience in this area – most importantly, you’ll bring a determination and commitment to the role. The customer experience must be your driving force. You’ll need to take pride in a job well done, and concentration all the way through a demanding shift is key, making sure the correct orders arrive with our customers every time.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

Reporting to a MD, you will play a key role within the packing department.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Picking and prepping stock
  • Packing perfectly wrapped products
  • Gift wrapping
  • Cleaning and polishing glassware
  • Quality control
  • Assisting with dispatch of orders
  • Unloading and organising stock
  • General workshop duties

Training will be provided.

Flexibility and willingness to work hours required are a key element for this role. Hours required will depend on order levels but we estimate about 4 hours a day Monday-Saturday.

You possess the ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment, whilst still maintaining the high standards of quality that we require. You will have the customer at the front of your mind, packing the perfect gift that you are proud to send to the customer. You’re happy to work as part of a wider team and are able to take instruction but also relish taking your own initiative. You’re a good communicator who’s able to articulate ideas, opinions and issues clearly. You’re passionate about your role and take pride in your work.

THE KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE NEED

  • Some experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • An impeccable understanding of the English language including grammar and punctuation
  • Strong manual production skills
  • A keen eye for detail when working quickly
  • Self motivation to work hard and do everything to the best of your ability
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work a rang of hours
