An opportunity has become available within our small business. We are a busy independent coffee shop with delicatessen. Family run for 20 years in a village location. We are looking for an energetic, motivated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year catering/ food preparation experience, enjoy working as a small team & have good initiative. The ability to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods & have fun at the same time.
Duties to include:
- Preparing food/lunches to eat in & take-away
- Making coffee & drinks
- Clearing tables, pot washing, keeping high hygiene standards.
- Keeping the deli well stocked
- Taking telephone orders
- Taking orders, card & cash handling.
Previous hospitality/catering experience is preferred.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
A pension,holiday pay & tips are included in the package.
Hours - Weds, Thurs & Fri approx 18- 20hrs Per week.
Must be able to work one Saturday a month & be available for holiday cover
Starting Wage from £10.50 - £11.00 for the right candidate
