T Nevill & Co Ltd is a specialist metal fabrication company, focusing on manufacturing high-quality metal products using a broad range of techniques and skills, to fulfil prominent design briefs.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in the manufacturing industry at entry level in a small, growing metal fabrication company. Working alongside senior management to implement and achieve a successful business strategy. Candidates should have good punctuality, a positive attitude, a strong drive to learn and develop their skills and a genuine interest in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate would be performing the following roles:
· Produce estimates for customer enquiries
· Use 3D CAD modelling software to produce technical drawings
· Maintain workshop consumable stock levels
· Place orders for materials and resources
· Liaise with workshop team during production
· Carrying out quality control
· Documenting completed works and preparing job reports
Experience not essential as training will be given, though any of the following would be desirable:
· Understanding or experience reading technical drawings
· Good English and Maths skills, as well as competent use of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Excellent communication skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Good organisational skills
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Mon-Thu 7.30am to 4.30pm with a 15 minute paid break and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm with a 15 minute paid break.
£11.00 - £13.50 per hour dependant on experience level.
