Unloader
Jark Worcester is looking to recruit personnel for industrial distribution center located in Droitwich. We are looking for a motivated individual to unload trucks and load trucks at our facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks
- Maintain the cleanliness of the loading dock area.
- Keep the loading dock area clean and organized.
- Keep the loading dock area clean and organized.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Maintain inventory in warehouse according to orders received from customers.
- Maintain inventory in warehouse according to company policy.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, including work space in general warehouse areas, including break rooms, bathrooms, etc.
- Work with minimal supervision in a safe manner at all times to ensure safety for self, co-workers, customers, and property in all work areas.
- Work safely around heavy equipment and machinery.
- Operate equipment that includes forklift, pallet jack, backhoe, etc.
- Load/unload trucks using forklift or other equipment as needed.
- Assist other employees as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the company.
Required Skills:
·High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience preferred.
·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or ability to be assisted by lifting up to 50 lbs., as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to move around on your feet without having to bend down or lift up on your knees. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks requiring quick thinking and multitasking skills while still being able to carry out your tasks with accuracy and precision
